Eco-friendly living. Many people imagine living in a cottage with organic vegetable patches, away from the urban area. Or teenagers and the elderly that raise cardboards and go on climate protests. The truth is, this dire state of the earth, forces each of us, whether rural or urban living, to take on some responsibility. For young urban dwellers like me, who work more than 8 hours a day, the remaining hours are then used for social activities, fitness and networking. Not that I spend much time outside with friends as an introvert, but I imagine many who are between 25–30 do.
Then, where exactly does the environment fit in? Well, there are plenty of solutions available for us to be mindful about the environment even in our busy lives, here are some examples.
1.Invest in a good cotton bag
A good cotton bag can last for up to 15 years. Assume we buy our groceries once a week and an average person takes home at about 4–5 plastic bags per trip, using a reusable cotton bag can avoid 3900 plastic bags from going into the landfill. With only one switch, a big part of the landfill has already been cleared for more essential trash.
